Why ?

Milk is a complete and natural food, but mixing with some other food items,  it can spoil your health and can also cause digestion related problems. According to Ayurveda, a special situation is required for the proper digestion of milk as it is rich in protein and fat. But on taking sour & citrus fruits, salted food, meat & seafood spicy food etc. with milk, it can get accumulated in the stomach which can cause problems like slow digestion, bloating, acidity and even accumulation of toxic substances in the body. For better absorption and proper digestion of the elements it is best to take milk separately or only with those food items which fulfil the natural qualities.

For some people, mixing milk with certain foods can trigger skin issues like acne, rashes, or eczema. This is because improper digestion can increase internal heat or promote mucus formation, which in turn may affect skin health and immunity.

According to Ayurveda, incompatible food combinations  like milk with meat or fish can create “ama” — toxins in the body. This toxin buildup may lead to skin problems, fatigue, and other long-term health concerns. The body needs extra energy to process these foods, which can also cause lethargy after meals.

This is the reason why we should not eat these foods with milk

Conclusion :

Always drink milk separately, or drink it with the foods mentioned here that can be consumed with milk.
